Mail in-Ballot Voter Fraud Bill, HB 130 Fails
Due to pressure from Tea Party/Liberty activists from around the state, HB 130, also known as the "Mail-in Ballot Voter Fraud Bill," was defeated in the third and final reading (vote).  This bill, if passed, would have changed all future voting to mail-in ballots. Nearly all voter fraud perpetrated by ACORN, the "community organization" associated with Pres. Obama which is currently under criminal investigation, was done through mail-in ballots.  Additionally, the mail-in ballot campaign is a part of the Soros SOS Project, where George Soros provided funds to elect "progressive" Secretaries of State who are the chief elections officer.  Bottom line: despite claims it would save time and money and would increase voter turnout, it was a bad bill and we should all be happy it failed. What is remarkable is the dramatic turn-around of votes from second reading till the final vote.

Here is an excerpt from Rep. James Knox, who as you know suffered a heart attack recently but still monitored proceedings and was able to vote.

"I have to commend the efforts by all to ensure this bill did not pass. It went down in a 42/57 vote, almost a complete flip form second reading.  I believe the credit can be given to those who cared enough to call, email or contact their representative. I know my message box was stacked with notices requesting me to vote against this bill."

Now that our people mobilized from around the state, it's time for us to get together and network in person. We have that opportunity at the upcoming MT Tea Party Convention, hosted and organized by the Big Sky Tea Party Association.
