Why did I join CYP? I joined CYP because it's a great way to meet new people.  It's also a great way to keep me informed of opportunities to volunteer and help out in the community.
My most memorable event with CYP: My most memorable CYP event was the very first social I attended.  It was great to meet so many people around my age that are in professional settings.
The one activity I enjoy doing in my spare time is: I'm a health nut, so I love to workout.
Favorite thing about the Mississippi Gulf Coast: Summertime and Mardi Gras
Favorite Restaurant on the Coast: Half-Shell, even though I've only been once. Yeah, it's that good!

Sh*t My Dad Says
By Justin Halpern

We all need a good laugh sometimes and this book promises to make that happen.  Being a young professional can be stressful at times and it's a proven fact that laughing makes everything better.  In between reading books that can benefit you in your career, such as The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, pick up a copy of Sh*t My Dad Says for a much needed break from reality.

Here is an actual quote from the book: "The worst thing you can be is a liar. . . . Okay, fine, yes, the worst thing you can be is a Nazi, but then number two is liar. Nazi one, liar two."
Monthly Insight

"A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men."
-Willy Wonka
