Back-to-School Supply Drive

Special thanks to Mimi and Hawkins who collected school supplies for the children and youth at ACH.
Everyone has butterflies the first day of a new school year. The children and youth in our residential programs may just have a few more because they often are dealing with a new school, making new friends and lots of other new changes. Wearing clothes that fit and having the right school supplies make a huge difference.

You can help our kids look and feel great--and return to the classroom with confidence--by donating school supplies that will get them ready for the new school year. See our complete Back-to-School Wish List for more details, or make an online donation. Please deliver supplies by August 15.

Girl Scout Volunteers
Girl Scouts volunteer to clean and organize the ACH Toy Closet.
Summer Closet Cleanup.
This summer, six volunteers spent 32 hours cleaning, organizing and taking an inventory of our Care Closet and Toy Closet. These volunteers came from Girl Scouts, the Oakridge School and Stephen F. Austin State University throughout June and July.

Having a clean and tidy inventory allows our clients and their families to more easily access the generous donations we have been given. It also helps us to be better stewards of the in-kind gifts and donations ACH receives. Thank you to all of these great volunteers for their hard work!
