East Arlington Family Support Center News...
EAFSC Logo

Partners of the East Arlington Family Support Center:

We would like to share an important update. As a few of you may have already learned, Marcela Nava, the Family Support Center's Manager, has tendered her resignation from the ACH Child and Family Services.  Her last day at the EAFSC will be Friday, June 29th.  We are both saddened for the loss and excited that she will be continuing her work to strengthen the capacity of communities, although on a grander scale.  Fortunately, many of you will continue to have contact with Marcela in her new role.  Marcela will move to the University of North Texas Health Science Center as their first Community Engagement Manager at the Center for Community Health.

You can continue to refer individuals to services through the EAFSC by calling 817-277-3050 or emailing familysupport@achservices.org.

In the days and weeks to come, ACH will be continuing to meet with stakeholders to determine the future of services that we are offering in the 76010 community.  We value your input and would welcome any thoughts on this that have not already been communicated to us through stakeholder groups or stakeholder surveys. If you wish to contribute to this discussion, please email Alan Schonborn at aschonborn@achservices.org.

The impact of Marcela's work in East Arlington since 2009 has been extremely valuable for many children, families, service providers and other family and community advocates.  Although she will leave behind very large shoes to fill, I know you will join me in wishing Marcela only the best in her personal and professional life.
