Lend A Hand Luncheon Logo

In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, ACH is presenting the Lend A Hand Luncheon on Thursday, April 5, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, at the Omni Hotel Fort Worth. Join us for the year's most valuable educational opportunity and learn more about local child welfare yesterday and today!

Hear comments from honorary chair, Russ Morton, namesake of his grandfather, Rusty Russell, who formed and coached the legendary high school football team at the Fort Worth (TX) Masonic Home for Orphans known as the "Mighty Mites" that captured both championships and the hearts of a depression-era America in the late 1920s and '30s. Their story, "Twelve Mighty Orphans: The Inspiring True Story of the Mighty Mites Who Ruled Texas Football," told in the best-selling book by Jim Dent, is the basis of the film scheduled for production by Presidio Pictures in 2012. Register now...

For 11 years, our friends at Cash America have supported ACH with proceeds from their annual golf tournament. In December, Cash America staff members presented ACH with a check for $25,218! ACH greatly appreciates this very generous gift and our continuing partnership with this great company.
