Family/Youth Opportunities...
Strengthening Families Program available for families with children 9-16 years old. This 14-week program is offered Mondays, beginning February 6, 2012 at 5:30pm-8pm at Blanton Elementary School, 1900 S. Collins, Arlington, 76010. Dinner provided; transportation and babysitting if needed; and Free bag of groceries each week. January 27, 2012 is Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Awareness Day. Millions of workers could qualify for the first time this year because their earning dropped or their marital or parental statuses change. Childless workers, people with English as a second language, and grandparents raising grandchildren may qualify.
