We are pleased to share that business at Belltower Chapel & Garden is going well. On the heels of the 100 events held at Belltower in its first year of operations in 2010, 137 events are currently booked for this year. Belltower provided over 1,400 hours of economic empowerment and supportive employment to foster youth last year and is on track to provide even more this year.
Belltower Chapel & Garden offers a wedding and reception venue, planning and coordination services, and officiant services. We have limited 2011 availability remaining, and are now booking 2012. Call 682.432.1140 for open dates.

Better Outcomes for Children
Private agencies' work with birth and kinship families is expanding as research indicates that family involvement leads to better outcomes for most children. Evidence is emerging which indicates reunification of children, who have entered the child welfare system, with their families improves if the same agency works with both the birth family and the child.
Join us for an important workshop that will review research and best practice approaches in this expanding area of work, and discuss practical ways to involve families in out-of-home placement for their children.

Special thanks to employees from the Bank of America Community Volunteers program who collected and donated over 300 backpacks and supplies for the children and youth at ACH.
Everyone has butterflies at the beginning of a new school year. The children and youth in our residential programs may just have a few more because they often are dealing with a new school, making new friends and lots of other new changes. Wearing clothes that fit and having the right school supplies make a huge difference.
