Rangers Step Up to the Plate

Rangers Captain and ACH YouthThe Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and Ozarka Natural Spring Water partnered to provide backpacks and school supplies for the children in ACH's residential programs.

Ozarka's program, Recycle 4 Humanity, is an initiative to provide awareness of what can be made from recycled materials. Together, the Texas Rangers Foundation and Ozarka's Recycle 4 Humanity turned $5,000 worth of donated recycled goods into backpacks. Corporate and foundation donations also enabled them to fill 300 backpacks with notebooks, folders, pens, and JC Penney gift cards to buy school uniforms and clothes.

ACH is very grateful to the Texas Rangers for providing the children in our care with the school supplies, tickets to baseball games, and special opportunities to meet players and throw out the first pitch. Read more...
