In June of 2011 we released our first videos filmed & produced by our studio. We are excited to have had the opportunity to work as the event production team at EPAC with Zarni DeWet and her band as well as Tyson Alston and his band.
We have to admit, the thought of capturing a live performance for our "first gig" was initially a bit intimidating, however we continued our long standing practice of exceeding our client's expectations with the end products.

Facebook continues to dominate the social media platforms. If you are still holding out thinking this is a fad that will soon end, you may be missing a significant opportunity for connecting with others and/or marketing you, your goods or services, etc.
We realize for the last few months we keep talking about Facebook... it's important you recognize not only the importance of this media but also understand that it is the most inexpensive media available on the market today.
Having a presence where your customers can follow along is an important part of the relationship. Perhaps one of the most economical integration solutions is the like box. Visit our website to see one in action on the home page.
This box allows you to quickly update your website with information as well as quickly allow users to connect with you on Facebook.
If you do not yet have a like box, need more information, or have any questions... please contact us... If you do not like us yet... visit our Facebook page! and click LIKE!

Hosting and you...
| Over the past few weeks we have noticed some issues with hosting accounts across the board. We have had calls from various clients with email issues, websites not looking right, as well as a couple with intermittent or delayed functionality. We have had issues performing updates on client sites as well as clients being able to load or unload files from their accounts.
Obviously, it's essential that a website be functional and work when a user visits your site. We take any interruption in service seriously and have investigated each and every occurrence. We currently use three different companies for hosting solutions and have done so for a variety of reason. We have been in contact with each as these issues have not been limited to one company, one server system, etc. Here is what we have found out... By the way.. each company representative I spoke with from different companies at different times said about the same thing... which leads me to believe there is credibility in their explanations:
1.) While the internet is designed for redundancy and multiple data paths to get information from one place to another, due to current events (wild fires in the south and west, severe flooding in the mid-west, and multiple severe storms & related events like tornadoes) A significant reduction in transmission pathways has resulted in delays and decreases in performance.
2.) With any major event in history, internet traffic also spikes... recently in our area, in addition to those events mentioned above, an increase interest in politics and the gay marriage vote, and sports finals wrapping up has also created additional traffic which slows performance. (The same thing last happened during the world cup soccer tournament a while back.)
3.) There has been a significant increase in null data requests... From virus, spam, and malware, the events in the last month have been 3-5 times what normally occurs in a month. To address this, hosting companies have been doing all they can to validate access, re-route traffic and sort out the good from the bad... This results in a issue called latency... again, making hosting somewhat unreliable.
So... First... we recognize there is a problem. It's affecting you... it's also affecting us...
Now... what do we do...
There are basically two options...
1.) We can sit tight and let the hosting companies work out the bugs... hosting is a continual cat and mouse game... the problems are fixed... hackers get smarter, new problems, emerge and the cycle repeats. (This is what we are doing with the GreyGooseGraphics.com website.)
2.) We can help you move your hosting to a different company.
- There is no guarentee it will be better... it might be worse.
- There are no refunds for hosting, so it's an additional expense and also requires reconfiguration of your email accounts and how you pick up your email.
- Smaller hosting companies are having less issues than the large companies, but they are still being affected.
If you are having issues and we have not yet spoke. Please call us to make sure we are on top of your issue and can help facilitate a resolution.

The Geese are flying north...

It's been a long time coming! Since our opening in February of 2006 we've dedicated many evenings and weekend hours to provide exemplary services to our clients. Exceeding expectations... It's just what we do.
On July 4th we will be departing for a 10 day track through the State of Maine. During this interval we will have limited access to phone & email. We will not have access to any production equipment. (The first time in 5 years!)
Any requests will be put in queue and addressed upon our return on July 14th.
If you anticipate any special needs during this period which can not wait until the 14th, please get them to us ASAP. We have extended our operational hours in to the evenings this week as well as over the weekend of July 2nd & 3rd.
Make sure you are following us on Facebook! We'll keep you updated on our journey. If mother nature cooperates... we may even return with some footage of one of our events planned for our time away... Sure to make you laugh!
If you have any questions or concerns, we urge you to CONTACT US today!
