Here we grow again!!! |
One of the reasons our studio continues to grow and excel during these financially challenging times is our ability to listen to our client's, respond to their needs and exceed their expectations.
Over the last few months we have repeatedly heard that some of the associated expenses businesses are facing with their marketing programs and projects are prohibiting them to from delivering an effective marketing or promotional campaign. To be very specific here are the three concerns which have been brought to us and our plans which are underway to address them...
1.) Development of print materials is becoming increasingly more expensive. We couldn't agree more with you... We could spend an hour going in to the reasons why, but the bottom line is print materials should be more affordable. - We have not only expanded our internal capabilities in terms of training and education but additional software to assist you in the development of the quality pieces you may need for your program or project.
- We have developed great relationships with other professionals in the area that can assist us should you require something outside of our expertise.
- We now have a strong relationship with incredible, local printers and other media production teams to get you what you need at a fair cost.
2.) Photography is an additional expense which is well above my budget.
Photos are an important part of any print or web project. Until now, we had three options... You would provide us with photos, together we could look for stock photos, or we could refer you to a qualified photographer. - In January of 2011 we added a talented photographer to our staff. She not only has a great eye, but the technical ability to create a great photo. While her availability is limited at this time, we anticipate this to continue to grow over the next year.
- To assist with the larger shoots, or to allow us to cover in her absence, we will be further expanding our offerings with additional equipment and training for the remaining studio team.
- We will also be attending Photoshop World Expo in Orlando in March to further grow and develop our skill set.
3.) Video is awesome, I want one... I can't afford it!
We have heard this repeatedly and are working diligently to provide our clients with some additional options. - For about three months we have been producing custom multimedia presentations that while not true motion video, offer clients a cost effective solution.
- We hope to expand in this area by completing some upcoming seminars and an intensive pre-conference workshop in Orlando on creating video with Digital SLR cameras.
While we truly believe these new offerings will provide many of our clients new or expanded options, we clearly realize that one solution does not fit everyone. We will still be referring large video projects to our friends at White Knight Productions and large photography shoots to one of the several local photographers we work with. We hope that clients will consider these new options to assist them in containment of expenses or acceleration of their project time lines as we move forward.
