Hawaiian Experience Spa raises $300 to fight EDS
 Hawaiian Experience Spa, located in Scottsdale, Arizona has raised $300 to support local residents with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). The $300 was presented to Jen Scherr on September 18, 2009. Mrs. Scherr is the Vice-President of the EDSF Phoenix Metro Group, a support group for local residents with EDS. Hawaiian Experience Spa massage therapists treat several clients with EDS and the owners of the Scottsdale day spa actively work with EDS patients and groups to help bring attention to this genetic disorder which afflicts 1 in 5000 Americans.

Mountainside Price - $49 for your first visit and $69 for all other visits
If you have never had a treatment at the spa your first massage is only $49. If you have been in before you still save $20. Your massages are only $69 - no limit.

Tips and Ideas to Make your Visit Even Better
New Survey- We now have a new online survey. You will receive one via email after your treatment. Mahalo to all the clients who have filled out our surveys in the past. They help us make changes and improvements to make your visits to the spa more enjoyable. We have added face cleanser and moisturizer in the bathroom for example due to comments by you our clients. Please fill them out and let us know how we are doing.
Don't eat right before your visit - For your comfort we recommend not eating within two hours of your massage. If you do eat first, please eat lightly. Massage redirects blood flow to the muscles and can cause stomach pain and improper digestion if your body is trying to digest a heavy meal while blood is being directed away from the digestive system to the muscles. Don't worry, there is always more time to eat later.
Make it a Date - Bring your significant other to the spa and make it a date. You can get a couples treatment or separate treatments. Either way you can share the waterfall shower and relax together in the lounge. It doesn't have to be at night daytime dates can be just as much fun!
Try a different therapist - All of our therapists are great! Each one has a different technique or specialty. Try someone new and see what else is available to you at the spa. We can help you choose. Whether you want a super relaxing massage, a deep tissue massage or an exotic Hawaiian massage we have a therapist for that!
