Russian Pointe on the Road

Ali Aguilar presented a Trunk Show Seminar on November 7 at Artful Dancewear in Dallas, TX. Owner Kay Dalziel decorated the store with balloons, posters and the Russian Pointe banner, served snacks and ran a sale that day to help promote the event. Dancers received goodie bags and the chance to enter a raffle for a store discount or Russian Pointe tee. The 25 fittings included dancers new to Russian Pointe as well as those getting re-fit, Ali reports.
Ali also traveled to Canada for an October 23 Trunk Show at LaSyds Dancewear in Calgary, Alberta. Owner Maureen Fielding's opening order had arrived just two weeks prior to the trunk show, but Russian Pointes were selling so well that she restocked for the event. "I felt so much excitement from parents and dancers to learn more about Russian Pointe," Ali says, "and had many one-on-one discussions along with about 30 fittings." Ali brought samples of Encore: "After seeing the great response to this new model, Maureen decided to bring in an entire size run." |
