Our Company PresidentIn celebration of its 30th anniversary, the internationally acclaimed Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra begins a world tour this month. The Moscow Virtuosi will perform for one night only at Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall on Sunday, May 18 at 7:30 PM, presented by Maestro Artist Management. The orchestra will be joined by Russian piano virtuoso Olga Kern, in her first performance on the historic stage of Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall.
 
The Moscow Virtuosi was founded in 1978 by renowned violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov. Comprised of top-ranking soloists and former principal chairs of the great orchestras of Russia, the Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra has been in demand at the world's most prestigious festivals and concert halls since its inception.
 
Piano soloist Olga Kern won the first Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition at age 17 and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition gold medal in 2001, and received an honorary scholarship from the President of Russia in 1996.
