Kathryn Makes Progress
 Kathryn has been in the transitional housing program for approximately 6 months and is truly a miracle in the making. She came to GRACE through a shelter referral in west Texas after fleeing a severe domestic violence situation. Kathryn says if it weren't for the home and safety she's found at GRACE, she would be dead.
Kathryn was sleeping in her car upon arrival in the DFW area because she had obtained gainful employment in the area before finding stable housing. So far during her brief time in the program, Kathryn has received a raise at her job, is now receiving insurance benefits, and saves money weekly as part of her service plan. Kathryn is also paying off past debt on a monthly basis. Her goal is to save enough money to move into her own house when she graduates from the GRACE housing program.
Kathryn is a survivor and a perfect example of how our program benefits those in need of stable, safe housing.

Clean Sweep for GRACE
Representative Katrina Keith from the Miss Molly Foundation recently visited Development Director Mark Woolverton at GRACE Main to award their first check of more than $900 for GRACE Programs. The money was contributed bit by bit, or in this case, dime by dime. For each housecleaning during the month of December, Molly Maids donated a dime. We are impressed both by the check and the number of house cleanings in one month!

Save the Date for GRACE Golf
