New Young Members Minyan

BS"D

Baruch Hashem  our shul is growing!   Many new young families are moving into the neighbourhood, and  our Shul embraces the opportunity by finding new ways to service its flourishing membership.

In this vein, the Board of Governors' and its Executive Committee has approved the introduction of a new Young Members Minyan (YMM) to serve as a platform for new programs and initiatives that be'ezras Hashem will lead to spiritual growth, friendship and camaraderie amongst the younger members of SSCM.

This coming Shabbos, Parshas Shlach, we are launching this new Minyan (YMM).   The Minyan will be geared towards couples married less than seven years, college students and singles. The Minyan will start at 9:00AM each Shabbos in the Reiter Beis Medrash and will have ladies section as well.

It is our immence kavod  that the Minyan will be lead by Rabbi Shmueli Zilber Shlita, who will be giving the Dvar Torah on a weekly basis. Rabbi Zilber is originally from New York, but more recently has been in the Ottawa Kollel. For the last four years Rabbi Zilber has been the Grade Eleven Rebbi at Yeshiva Darchei Torah. His experience, knowledge and magnetic personality will no doubt be a great asset to the YMM and the entire SSCM community.

Many of our members as well as some from outside the shul have agreed to take part in this new initiative. If you know of anyone who you feel might benefit from the YMM and would want to take part in this new and exciting addition to SSCM please feel free to let them know.

Sincerely,

Ari Messinger
