Dear SSCM Members,
The SSCM Youth Committee is very excited to inform you of a project that we have undertaken.
As many of you are aware, the shul has not had a sufficient library of children's books in a long time. Over the years, the Shul's Library of children's books has been damaged from overuse and wear and tear. We now have an opportunity to build a Youth Library that our shul can be proud of.
Our goal is to build a full and comprehensive library that our children will be excited to use. We would like to have numerous children Siddurim, Pirkei Avot, Haggadot as well as Parsha books, so that they can be used by children in shul while sitting with their parents. As well, the library will have a number of appropriate story books for children of all ages. We hope to be able to build an extensive library of books for our children to use.
We are looking for sponsors who would be interested in funding this project. Donations of $25 and more will be able to dedicate a book with an inscription on the inside cover. Some dedication ideas could be in honour of a friend or your child's birthday.
We are also looking for donations of gently used books from any members that no longer need them. This will help us build our library for all our children. Please deposit your books in the box in the main floor shiur room for us to process.
Please contact Yaacov Levinson, Noam Samson or Yosi Rubinoff if you would be interested in participating.
