Dear Harding Family,
Welcome back! It is my prayer that you enjoyed a wonderful fall break. The principals, teachers, and I look forward to seeing students back on our campuses tomorrow as we begin the second quarter.
I am excited to remind upper school parents that our new front entrance will be open tomorrow! Please drop off / pick up students and enter the building using this wonderful new entrance.
As we celebrate Homecoming Week, 2012: "Beyond the Blueprint," make plans to attend the following events at the upper school campus this week: - Legacy Chapel - Ellis Haguewood '63: Wednesday, October 10 at 9:35 a.m.
- Homecoming Day Festivities: Friday, October 12
- Dedication of front entrance: 9:00 a.m.
- Assembly & Skits: 12:30 p.m.
- Reunions: '82, '92, '02 at the Alumni Tent @ 6:30 p.m. (begins)
- Game: 7:00 p.m. (alumni and their families are free)
Homecoming dress-up days for upper school are as follows: - Tuesday - "Old People" Day
- Wednesday - Pirate Day
- Thursday - Campfire Day
- Friday - Spirit Day
Next week, we will be kicking off the Harding 5K at all campuses as well as welcoming the community for Preview Days at our early childhood and lower school campuses.
We are looking forward to a great second quarter.
