HIGHLIGHTS
Seventh Grade Bible Ceremony
The thirteenth annual seventh grade Bible ceremony took place this morning.. The class of 2018 was presented with personalized leather NIV Bibles engraved with the student's name and the school crest. We want our seventh graders to know the importance of walking on a path that is illuminated by God's Word. In a short five years, these same students will march across this same stage to receive their diplomas. Though the academic education received in the next few years is important, the spiritual education is crucial. The Bibles are provided each year through the Dr. Gaylon and Mrs. Deanna Smith Memorial Endowment Fund.

ACT Prep Classes
The 4-week prep class for the December 8 test (11/8, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6) is now registering - click here. Flyers are also available in the Upper School Counseling Office.
Cordova Lions on the Lawn Upper School families are invited to attend this event or tailgate in the Cordova Early Childhood parking lot starting at 4 p.m. The varsity football game is at FACS (8650 Walnut Grove Road). Cross Country Teams are Crazy About Cans! In the fall of 2011, the Harding senior high cross country girls and boys teams started a project to serve our community and raise money for the team at the same time. Dianne Stalcup ('80), one of the girls cross country coaches, and her husband Greg ('80), coordinated the effort which included building a recycling collection unit. The "House of Cans" is located behind the Sisson Gym at Harding Cherry Road. It has already been filled to the brim several times with cans. The cross country teams have also conducted several "can" runs along their practice routes. If you recycle cans, please bring them to the Cherry Road campus and fill the House of Cans. The cross country teams can turn these cans into cash at recycling centers which will help out the Harding cross country team, your environment, and your city.
