HIGHLIGHTS
Harding Prepares for 60th Celebration:
On Friday, September 7, Harding Academy will recognize the 60th year of the opening of school (September 8, 1952 is the actual date). Students in EC1 - Grade 6 will "party like it's 1952" with a 50's dress-up day, cake or cookies, and music from the 1950's. The upper school will have a special assembly with Mr. Alan Pritchard (Class of 1960, teacher, and former coach) as our special guest speaker. The development office will host a reception for special guests after the assembly. Upper school students will enjoy cake during lunch.
We will be having several alumni receptions at special events throughout the year to celebrate our 60th anniversary. More information will follow.

It's not too late for senior parents to order a Senior Tribute page. The late date for turning in orders is September 20. Turn orders in to Allie Chester or Mrs. Manning.
ACT Prep Classes:
The December 8 testing class (11/8, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6) is now registering. Click here. Flyers are also available in the Upper School Counseling Office. Power of Prayer (POP) Group: POP meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 (in the Stepherson Room) to pray for our school. Anyone can join. - This past week we prayed for Senior class and Administration.

CAMPUS MINISTRYFall Praise Night: Next Friday, September 14, after the home game, everyone is invited to the O. O. Emmons Auditorium (9:00 - 10:00 p.m.) for a time of praise. The community is welcome! Senior High Retreat:SHR13 will be March 9 -10. This is a new date from previous years. This is the first weekend of Spring Break, so save the date. More details coming soon. FINE ARTS
The 2012-2013 Theatre Season will begin (again) on Tuesday, September 4, with auditions for "Little Women" at 3:00 p.m. in the O. O. Emmons Auditorium. There is not an audition packet for "Little Women." All you need to do is try out. And yes, there are male roles in the play!
