Meet the Teacher Night: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Cherry Road campus for all upper school parents. Power of Prayer (POP) Group: Just a reminder that every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. the Power of Prayer Group (POP) meets in the Stepherson Room to pray for our school. This past week we focused on the incoming 7th grade students and the students new to Harding (Grades 8-12) as they are all adjusting to our Cherry Road campus. Anyone is welcome to join us for POP! INTERNET SAFETY SEMINAR for PARENTS

Ms. Ireland works with a Department of Justice initiative known as Project Safe Childhood, which prosecutes internet and social media crimes involving children and which also aims to give families the most current information about digital communications technology, social networking, smart phones, and computers.
With the many social-networking sites available, the protection and safety of our children who use the Internet is a paramount concern for Harding Academy and our families. Ms. Ireland will present parents with instructions on how to protect the privacy and safety of their children who use these sites and will also cover topics such as cyberbullying, sexting, and texting.
Note: Ms. Ireland will present to Harding Academy parents on August 27, 2012. This session is intended for parents only. On August 28, Ms. Ireland will present to students in grades 7-12 during a special morning assembly.

PowerSchool goes LIVE on Friday, August 24. Upper school parents should pick up their PowerSchool letter with passwords at Meet the Teacher Night.
