Dear Lord, Thank you for blessing me with the amazing opportunity to work at Harding Academy.  I am humbled to see how powerfully Your Spirit works in the lives of our administration, teachers, coaches, staff, students, and parents.  It is abundantly clear that this is Your school, and I ask that You will continue to reign in all that we do and say. As we embark on another exciting school year, dear Lord, I pray for every student that will walk through our doors.  Bless them with safety, and with the understanding that each one is uniquely created in Your image and loved by You.  May every child that we serve know that we love them and desire for them to utilize their myriad of gifts to bring You glory.  While we challenge them with high expectations, help us to advocate for them and support them as they grow to become exactly what You have called each of them to become.  Most importantly, may they come to know You better and see You at work in their lives. Thank you, dear Lord, for every parent who has entrusted their most precious blessing to us.  Help all of our administration, faculty, and staff to fully embrace this important obligation and to support our parents as they seek the very best for their children.  May our lines of communication be open as we proactively develop a healthy partnership between home, church, and our school.  As we work together, help us to be proud of our school and strive to do everything with excellence for Your glory.  May every child realize and appreciate the sacrifice and investment that their parents are making to send them to Harding Academy. I am very grateful for every teacher and staff member that You have called to work in this place.  Thank you, Father, for blessing them with the unique ability to teach.  May Your Spirit dwell in every adult as they interact daily with our students.  Lord, please help us to not only challenge them with high academic expectations, but to develop healthy and appropriate relationships with them that help them to grow into young men and women who know You and follow You.  Help our faculty and staff to hold one another accountable to the Kingdom expectations that you have set for each of us. Bless our entire school community this year, Lord.  Help the Harding family to embrace the Kingdom influence that You have called us to in our city.  Please use us and work through us to serve as agents of reconciliation and restoration in our broken world.  As we serve one another and our community, may the world know that You sent Your Son, and that You love them just as You love Him.   Thank you, dear Lord, for this wonderful opportunity.
