This is a reminder of the informational meeting regarding Readak that is going to be held on Tuesday January 10th at 6 pm in the Stepherson Room.  It will be a presentation that will provide parents an overview of study skills that will be given in the course.  Ellen Bello the teacher of the course will be giving the presentation and answering questions at the end.

Readak is a learning skills course that will help students acquire positive study habits as well as effective learning skills that work for them.  Some of the skills covered in class are:

This course is offered for students Grade 6 through 12th.  If the students sign up for the course once they can take it again as many times as they want for free!  Enrollment forms have been sent home and there are more available in the office.  Ellen Bello will be in school all this week at the Guidance Office and is happy to answer any questions or concerns.  Sessions begin Saturday the 14th of January.  Looking forward to meeting you.
