New Advanced Studies Certificate

The Osborne College of Audiology (OCA) recently launched Advanced Studies in Cochlear Implants, a new graduate certificate program designed specifically for working audiology professionals, which will be taught entirely online.

Successful completion of this interdisciplinary program will prepare students for the specialty practice of cochlear implants and result in a ten semester credit certificate of Advanced Studies in Cochlear Implants.

Working closely with Dean Victor Bray and the University's vice president for Academic Affairs, Dr. James Caldwell,

Dr. Girija Sundar has constructed a program that is built upon a framework for best practices in the field of cochlear implants.

The forty week course begins on May 15 and will be taught by faculty renowned for their expertise in the area of cochlear implants. This is the first in a series of certificate programs that will be taught using the AuDonline platform first used in the PCO School of Audiology/OCA AuD bridge program that ended in 2010.

For more information or contact Dr. Sundar at [email protected].
