Monday: Why We Can't Wait for Peace in Sudan
On Monday, Gloria White-Hammond, humanitarian activist and co-founder of My Sister's Keeper, will present a Social Justice Leadership Series lecture entitled "Building Pathways to Sustainable Peace in Sudan: Why We Can't Wait". My Sister's Keeper is a faith-inspired, multiracial collective of women who lend humanitarian assistance to communities of women globally, with a focus on Sudan. (See left for details). Read More
Electric car-power pioneers get Brandeis award
Shai Agassi is an Israeli entrepreneur who has vowed to bring user-friendly electric vehicle power to the world.  Michael Granoff is an Israeli investor who has partnered and invested with Agassi and his vision.  Together they are co-winners of this year's Asper Award given by the Brandeis International Business School for entrepreneurs "who have demonstrated exemplary citizenship, creativity, innovation and business success."
