Brandeis Theater Presents: Cocktail Time in Cuba
The Brandeis Theater Company presents a new play from Rogelio Martinez. In August 2006, Michael, an American journalist, travels to an awakening Cuba with the hope of interviewing Fied Castro, but first he must navigate apost-Communist labyrinth of quirky bureaucracy. Cuba casts a spell on Michael that lures him away from a life and world he thought he knew and loved. Showing Thursday through Sunday. Tickets are $10. Read More.
Brandeis Haiti Relief Effort
The Brandeis Haiti Relief Effort has raised over $10,000 towards their goal of raising $25,000 to help support and rebuild Haiti as well as to educate the Brandeis community about Haiti's rich cultural history. Check out their new website for news, upcoming events, and how to donate.
Ethical Inquiry: Request for Proposals
The Ethics Center is seeking proposals from Brandeis graduate students who wish to contribute to the Ethical Inquiry series, in exchange for a $250 honorarium and research/writing credit. If interested in exploring a healthcare/health policy-related issue, please submit a proposal by Friday, March 12. All other proposals due April 9.

(EL)2 is coming


The March 16 - 18 (EL)2 Experiential Learning, Engaged Learners Symposium will showcase student work from around the world. Learn a bit of Chinese or Arabic at the Tuesday Pre-symposium Workshop. Experience Israeli Theater from the eyes of a Brandeis student on Wednesday. Or travel around the world through student poster and panel presentations on Thursday.
Watch this Saturday's 'Musika Rox' coexistence show live on the web
B'yachad, the university's Israeli Dance troupe, will join student Arab jazz fusion band Mochila, in an original, cross-cultural coexistence show, "A Coming Together...Musika Rox" at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 6, in Levin Ballroom.

The show will be streamed live on the university's Web site (viewers on campus will be redirected from the streaming page to IPTV; click "Tune In" and then click on the event).
