Welcome back; Haiti earthquake resources
As the second semester begins, here is a preview of global events and opportunities on the horizon. The Office of Global Affairs also joins the Brandeis International Students and Scholars Office in offering our thoughts and prayers to all students, colleagues, and families affected by the Haiti earthquake. We encourage you to contact the ISSO (781-736-3480) if you need assistance; and to read this message from Prof. Larry Simon (Heller School) on ways to give wisely to relief to disaster causes.

The Green Canvas: The Artist as Environmental Activist
February 8 - 12 | Distinguished Visiting Practitioner residency of Hoseob Yoon from Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea (more info)

Hoseob Yoon, a South Korean graphic artist who has devoted his career and his life to protecting the environment, will serve as the Ethics Center's fourth Distinguished Visiting Practitioner. The residency will include class visits, art demonstrations, exhibits, and one-on-one visits with students and members of the community. Click on the above link for a detaled schedule.
