First of this two-part colloquia which focuses on how racial and ethnic hierarchies in various social and cultural settings shape the experiences and formation of transnational families. Guest presenters include Hung Cam Thai, Assistant Professor of Sociology and Asian American Studies at Pomona College and Nazli Kibria, Associate Professor of Sociology at Boston University.
