The Alloy Orchestra presents: "Chang"

Written by Achmed Abdullah, "Chang" is a silent film about a farmer's struggle for survival in the jungle of northern Siam (now Thailand). The Alloy Orchestra is a three-man musical ensemble that writes and performs live accompaniment to classic silent films.

Franz Kafka took great interest in the Kabbalah, Jewish mysticism. Many of his stories can be interpreted in a kabbalistic vein. How did this happen? And what can this mean for us? Sponsored by the JPLS program with support from the Martin Weiner Fund.


On-going exhibition: Dress/Redressdress
Kniznick Gallery, Women's Studies Research Center
The exhibition brings together eight contemporary artists who - critically, ambivalently, or monumentally - address the relationship between clothing and identity. Runs through 9/25. The WSRC is running a September clothing drive. All donated clothing will be given to help those in need.
