Crown Center senior faculty and staff will lead a discussion on the
hottest issues in the Middle East today and the challenges they pose
for the next President of the United States. Reception to follow.
 Visiting Scholar Fu Youde (China)
Director of the Center for Judaic Studies at Shandong University in China will visit Brandeis Sept. 4 - 12 for a series of lectures and teach-ins on Judaism and Confusianism, and modern China.

Distinguished Visiting Practitioner: Brian Williams
Feb. 2009
Epidemiologist with the World Health Organization will visit campus to
address the issue of "human rights" versus "public health" approaches
to the management of disease.
On-going exhibition: Dress/Redress
The exhibition brings together eight contemporary artists who -
critically, ambivalently, or monumentally - address the relationship
between clothing and identity.
