1.  Pray for guidance and protection for pastors Maki and Okubo, the Funehiki Evangelical Church and the school staff at Wakakusa school.  Pray for protection and provision for the Japanese people affected by the recent tragic events.  Pray that the hearts of the people will be opened to the gospel.

A belated Happy Mother's Day. What an amazing gift God gives us in the mothers that we have. Thanks.

If you attended the 2010 Conference and haven't filled out a survey yet please do so right now at ARC Survey.

Mark your calendar for next year's conference NOW. It will be April 20-21, 2012. It's hard to think that far ahead, but unless we save the date something will interfere.

Speaking of calendars - see the one at the end of the newsletter!

 Vision Letter from Ned Berube

Dear friends,

THE GREAT COMMISSION-Go and make disciples everywhere. And do it this way:
  • baptize new believers in the Trinity
  • remember that Jesus has full authority everywhere
  • remember that Jesus will be with us on that mission of disciple making until always
  • teach all the commandments and teachings of Jesus
  • everywhere means everywhere, every nation and tribe and language
So how is the mission going in your neck of the woods? Any challenges? Well, I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, (read more)

Pastors we would love to hear from you. If you have news, activities, or notes of special interest to the whole family send it to

On May 15th Trygve Wistad was ordained at Cornerstone Church in Spooner, WI. The ordination was a double celebration as Trygve & Charmaine and about 15 other adults are being sent to plant a new church near Webster, WI. Ned & Sue Berube joined Tom Kelby and the elders for this celebration.

DTS is right around the corner. Please encourage your students entering grade 9 in the fall and older to register now at DTS 2011 Registration.

CTC (Cross Training Camp) is for boys and girls 9 to 15 years of age. The girls camp is July 10-16 and the boys camp is July 17-23. To see the more information check out the 2011 Cross Training Camp Brochure.

Several years ago we decided to set aside Pentecost Sunday as a day to share about the ARC. As this day celebrates the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church we believe this is appropriate. This year we are preparing a short video we encourage you to share with you congregation on this Sunday (or the Sunday on either side of Pentecost  - June 12). We are also asking each church to take up a special offering to aid the work of the ARC as it cares for pastors/leaders, overseas church plants, and cares for missionaries around the world. This is one way of sharing with our people the values of the ARC and what our commitments to one another mean. If you need more information on the ARC go to our ARC web site.
