Week 1

10/1 Friday-Beginning Stringing & Jewelry Design. Learn the basics to make your own jewelry

10/2 Saturday- Beginning Soldering & Hammering. Learn to solder and hammer making an AWESOME bracelet

10/4 Monday - Beginning Wirework. Learn the basic that will help in all of your designs by making a bracelet with beads and wire.

10/5 Tuesday -Basic piercing and sawing. Learn to use a jeweler's say, drill, punch and more by cutting out shapes from metal.

10/6 Wednesday -Wirework Rings. Using wire, beads, a mandrel and a rawhide mallet you will be making rings all day long. A easy and fun class!

10/7 Thursday - Chain Mail. Choose from 7 different styles of chain mail bracelets to make. This is a great class for beginners or for someone who wants to learn a new pattern. Fun and easy!

10/9 Saturday - Lincoln Nebraska Bead Show at the Cornhusker Hotel




Week 2

10/11 Monday - Intermediate Wirework. The Spiral Quad Link bracelet is just awesome! Once you learn the pattern you can make a matching necklace and earrings. Beginning wirework is required. You will twist, turn, coil and spiral wire until your heart's content.

10/12 Tuesday - Beginning Soldering & Hammering. Learn to solder and hammer making an AWESOME bracelet

10/13 Wednesday -Designer Wire Loop Earring. Basic level class where you will not only learn how to make earring but how to make the ear wires also.

 10/14 Thursday - Chain Mail Queen's Link Bracelet. Feel like Royalty learning this classic chain mail style by weaving jump rings.

10/16 Saturday - Introduction to Wire Crochet. Using beads as an embellishment you will make a beautiful multi-strand necklace. Then you can make matching earring and bracelet at home!

10/16 - Saturday Des Moines Gem and Mineral Show 2010. At the Animal Learning Center Iowa State Fairgrounds. Saturday 10-5pm. Vendors include gems, beads, tools, fossils, minerals and more. Get a $1 off admission coupon at our store!

10/17 Sunday - Des Moines Gem and Mineral Show 2010. At the Animal Learning Center Iowa State Fairgrounds. Sunday 10-4pm. Vendors include gems, beads, tools, fossils, minerals and more. Get a $1 off admission coupon at our store!


Week 3

10/19 Tuesday - Beginning Bezel Setting. Beginning Soldering required. You will learn to set cabochons into a pendant and make a bail to hang it on a chain.

10/20 Wednesday - Wire Wrap Pendants. By making 5 pendants you will learn the skill of taking focal beads and turning them into striking pendants that will be the focal piece of your necklace designs.

10/21 Thursday - Open Precious Metal Clay Workshop. Ruth will bring her tools and some clay you can purchase to make PMC pieces. Pick a certified level 3 teachers brain and have some fun. You can bring your own clay also. Not really a class just a great chance to play with clay!

10/22 Friday - Wirework Rings 2 the next level. The Rose & The Wrapped Spiral adjustable ring.

10/23 - Saturday Silver Foil Frames. Learn to solder frames on glass to create pendants with pictures and sayings.

10/25 - Monday Wirework Rings. Using wire, beads, a mandrel and a rawhide mallet you will be making rings all day long. A easy and fun class!

10/26 Tuesday - Silver Foil Frames. Learn to solder frames on glass to create pendants with pictures and sayings.

10/27 Wednesday - Make your own Findings and SAVE $$$$. Toggles, S Clasps, Head Pins, Eye Pins, Jump Rings and more. Basic soldering is not required for this class but we will use a torch! Learn to love FIRE!

10/28 Thursday - Byzantine Chain Mail Bracelet. This is the most classic chain mail pattern that there is. So many different variations. You can learn the basic pattern and then take it from there. Jump Rings are FUN!

10/29 Friday - "That Girl" Wire Bracelet. Back by popular demand this wire work bracelet is easy and fun to create. You will want to make them in all different colors for different outfits. Come and get wired!
