Our Philosophy
| I would like to talk for a moment about the Fishlips3 philosophy of doing business.
While
we started as an Internet based business 10 years ago, we have since
evolved into a brick and mortar shop who also does trade and art shows.
The
major difference between the two is when you are shopping on the
Internet you can do it in your PJ's or underwear if you like from the
comfort of your own home. So far in the store we have seen just a few
PJ's and thank heavens we have yet to see just underwear.
But
what we have seen is a lot of very nice, creative people who like to
see, touch and feel the goodies before they purchase them. We encourage
everyone to spend as much time in the shop as you like finding what you
need. Bring in items that you need to match up with other to complete
your designs. Use our table in the shop if you like.
All of us
believe that you are a friend in our home and we strive to treat you
like one. Even our loyal internet customers! (YES, I do harass my
friends when they come over to the house...both of them!)
We all
know that you can get your supplies at other bead and craft shops and
online. That is why we are committed to the best customer service out
there. Sure we all have our days and moments when we mess up. But day
in and day out Hobo tells me that we care about you, our customers. We
know without you I would have to sit at home and just have the Internet
business and do shows. (Hummm...in my PJ's? Is that a bad thing)? I
think not!
We believe that quality merchandise at a fair price
along with great customer service, going the extra mile for you is the
key to success. But we are also open to listening to you our customers,
who tell us what they need, want and what new classes they would like
to take.
While we have sales from time to time we never do a
huge amount of extra business during them. We jewelry designers are a
rare breed of people who buy when they want to...what they like...when
they are in the mood...the creative mood.
You also know that
we offer a quality product (not commercial grade) at a fair price all
year round. That makes 25% off in our store a great value and 50% off a
HUGE Savings.
We all would like to thank you, our customers for
staying loyal to us. Coming in a joking around with us. Giving us your
suggestions and sharing your knowledge with us on a regular basis and
of course keeping the PJ's and underwear at home!
