We have at least 5 ways you can help us kick-off Summertime! We have lots of fun planned and look forward to having you join us. The fun starts this Saturday for our combined 40th Birthday(s) Hat Party. See below for all the details.
We will be closed on the 4th of July and wish nothing but a day filled with celebration for you and your loved ones.
(Ernie doesn't know I'm writing this paragraph. He'll be surprised to read it. - from Lisa) And next time you stop by the shop be sure to congratulate Ernie on recently passing the Sommelier Exam & receiving his Sommelier Pin. Cheers to Ernie! And Cheers to spending a great summer with you!

Ernie & Lisa's 40th Birthday(s) Hat Party! | |
Join us for a day of partying and celebration. We will open at 3pm and the fun continues until closing at midnight. Feel free to bring food to share with others if you like. The only requirement is that you have to wear a hat. Be creative. Everyone is invited! 21 and over.

Yes, we are celebrating our 40th Birthdays together since Lisa's is in June & Ernie's is in July. Also, as the owners of Vinatero, we thought it'd be a great excuse to just throw a really big and fun HAT PARTY. So we encourage you to find the very special hat that will make for great party photos later. Be creative and have fun with it. Everyone 21 and over is invited. Old friends, new friends, the more the merrier! Please feel free to share this invite with your friends. And don't forget to start looking for the cool/fun/crazy HAT that you are going to wear.
The store will only be open for these special event hours on that day: 3pm - midnight.
BYOG (Bring Your Own Glass/Stemware)
BYID (Bring your Valid ID - 21 and over only)
Bring your own stemware, otherwise we will be providing the acrylic cups.
Most importantly, no need to RSVP, just be ready to celebrate. We look forward to having you celebrate with us. And don't forget your fun HAT!

$5 Mimosa Sundays | |
Join us every Sunday for our weekly "$5 Mimosa Sundays" at Vinatero!
This event coincides with the weekly "Sunday Market Place" that takes place in the parking lot right next door to our shop. (See below for more info on Market Place.) Yes, we will now be opening at 10am on Sundays in honor of the Sunday Market Place. Yay! So shop a little, drink a little. Very cool.
We look forward to seeing you on Sundays and pouring you a delicious and refreshing mimosa. Oh, and we also sell CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES made especially for Sundays by D's Delights. Mmmmmm...

Uptown Whittier Sunday Market Place | |

The Sunday Market Place is located right next door to Vinatero. 10am - 4pm
Local growers are coming to Uptown Whittier with fresh fruits and vegetables just for you. Enjoy live music, artist creations, unique collectibles, restaurants and eateries every Sunday.

Vinatero Vinyl Nights - Every Friday! | |
Due to popular demand, we are now holding our Vinyl Nights EVERY FRIDAY night!
6pm - Closing
You asked for it, you got it.
Just bring your favorite vinyls, put your name on a sign up sheet, and when your name is called you get to play YOUR song ON OUR TURNTABLE for the entire bar to hear. Remember, only 10 minutes max per song. Don't have any vinyls? No problem, just come and enjoy the party!
These nights are always a guaranteed good time for all who attend. Bring a friend, or come on your own and make new friends.
21 & over only. As always, please have your Valid ID.
Can't wait to see what treasures people bring in every week.

Uptown Whittier Zombie Crawl | |
Join us once again for another world famous Uptown Whittier Zombie Pub Crawl! The theme of this crawl will be
CIRQUE de ZOMBIE
on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 starting at 6pm
(not 7pm as stated on flyer above)
Come join us in the third event and this time we have all joined the circus! Zombie animals, zombie trapeze walkers, zombie animal trainers, zombie animals, zombie sideshow acts...and the most dreaded of all... Zombie clowns!
21 and over with valid ID only.
As usual, Vinatero will be participating and offering Zombie Specials that evening. We hope you can join us.
