It's Beaujolais Nouveau Time!
It will now be officially the third Thursday in November and we will have Beaujolais Nouveau in the shop... while supplies last. Last year we sold out within 2 days!
Beaujolais Nouveau is a light, French red wine, purple-pink in color. It is meant for immediate drinking, not to be kept for maturation like some other wines. "Beaujolais Day" is a day of celebration around the world. In Las Vegas, the Paris' Eiffel Tower has been lit up in red to celebrate the day, and cases of wine have been flown in by helicopter for faster delivery. Tokyo even celebrates with a big "Beaujolais Bath" as seen in the pictures at the end of this newsletter. Too cool.
The Nouveau is lightweight, even by Beaujolais standards, and is typically served slightly chilled. The wine has very little tannin and can be dominated by fruity flavors. It's a great bottle to serve with Thanksgiving dinner as a lighter alternative to heavier wines.

Next week is Thanksgiving and that means that the holidays are upon us. We will be OPEN on Thanksgiving Day 10am - 3pm for all your last minute wine, champagne, beer, & chocolate needs! We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you, our dear extended family!

Gourmet Chocolate Tasting

You're invited to a Gourmet Chocolate Tasting. Daryl Galindo AKA "The Chocolate Man" of D's Delights will be presenting a delicious selection of Gourmet Chocolates.
For a low tasting fee of $5.00 you will be able to tantalize your taste buds. Would you like a hint as to what you will be tasting?
For $5.00 per person your taste will include approximately 6 different samples, Dark Chocolate Dipped Jalapeno filled with Ganache, Milk Bordeaux, Milk or Dark Tommy's Toffee, Gorgonzola incased in Dark Chocolate, Milk or Dark Chocolate Covered Bacon and Champagne Truffles.

And just in time for Thanksgiving, D's Delight's will have party trays on hand to take home featuring some of D's Delights best sellers! This is a drop in tasting so come on in anytime between 2:00 and 5:00 PM
Vinatero Wine Shop will be open for beer and wine tastings, and their friendly staff will be on hand to help you choose your Thanksgiving beer & wine.
So mark your calendar and bring a friend.

We will be featuring the wines that will pair perfectly with your special meal. We're here early, so stop by on the way to your dinner to grab that particular bottle that will "wow" your dinner guests. There will be specially selected wines/champagnes chilled and ready to go! We'll even gift wrap them for you!

Due to the larger attendance, we will be featuring specially selected wines by the glass only, but not offering $2 tastings. Feel free to also buy any wine bottle at our shop and drink for only the retail price of the bottle. You can share a bottle with a friend... or not!
