We're getting excited about a new movie about wine that will be in theaters starting August 6th.
This movie is based on the true story of the now world famous 1976 Paris Wine Tasting that forever changed the way the rest of the world viewed Californian Wines. It looks as though this movie focuses mainly on the Chateau Montelena story and the winery's participation in the historic tasting. Check out this link to view the Bottle Shock Movie trailer. Being a wine lover, it should definitely make you smile.
 If you'd like to learn more about the true story, then you definitely want to read the book "Judgment of Paris: California vs. France and the Historic 1976 Paris Tasting That Revolutionized Wine" written by George Taber. This book also does an amazing job describing the history of California winemaking. It's an extremely informative and interesting read.
