Vinatero - We got the keys! Sept 2006
It's our One Year Birthday!
 
The picture above was taken on the day we received the keys to the shop on Sept 1st, 2006.  Notice we didn't have the fancy restrooms we have now.  Notice the paint cans still in the background.  Also look at the smiles on our faces... so hopeful and a little scared, and ready to begin our adventure of opening up a wine shop.

Yes, it's been one year since we've opened our doors.  And what a year it's been.  Some of you have been with us since day one, and some of you have been
with us since last week.  Because of you, it's been the best and busiest year of our lives.  We knew this was going to be good, but we had no idea how good.  Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to make our dream come true.  Whittier has truly welcomed us with open arms and blessed our business.  We owe all our success to YOU.

FYI:  You may want to bring your own stemware/glass.  We will be providing acrylic glasses, so if you want to drink your wine/beer in something else, then feel free to bring your own stemware.  Having a wine charm would also be a good idea.  By doing this we are saving countless hours handwashing and polishing all the Riedel stemware on this one special day.  Thank you!
