 If you've had the opportunity to go wine tasting in Paso Robles, then you already know what a unique experience it can be. On one of these trips to Paso Robles we met Dave and Carol King of Vista Del Rey Vineyards. It has since become one of our most memorable wine tasting experiences. We spent a beautiful afternoon there (as you can tell by our photos). Also, not only are they the most gracious hosts, but they have some of the best wines Paso has to offer! We've definitely been looking forward to this tasting for a long time.

"Aromas of blueberry, licorice and light earthy characters make up the nose of this 2004 wine. The entry is soft and lush, rich with black fruit and spice. A fleshy mid palate follows, and characterizes the ripe, powerful vintage. Slightly chalky, yet round tannins from the Cabernet Franc combine with bright acidity from the Merlot, to make this wine balanced and seamless from start to finish.
