Milton Artist, Barbara Masterson, was recently announced as the winner of the 2009 Millbrook Winery and Dutchess County Arts Council Wine Label Competition. Barbara's painting "Orchard" graces a Limited Release of 2006 Cabernet Franc Proprietor's Special Reserve and 2007 Chardonnay Proprietor's Special Reserve.

Live nativity at Episcopal Church Saturday night
Boys and girls at Christ Church in Marlboro will stage an outdoor "live nativity" scene Saturday, Dec. 19 from 6-8 p.m. in front of the church. Children and adults from the community are invited to participate. Extra costumes will be available.
Performances, which include readings and music, will cycle during the two-hour period. Refreshments will be served indoors as the "actors" take warmup breaks in the parish hall. The event will be held indoors in the event of inclement weather.
Christ Church is located at the northern intersection of Route 9W and Old Post Road in the Hamlet of Marlboro. Facilities are handicap-accessible. Parking is available. For further information, contact Fr. Jerry Brooks, 845-834-3474, or the church office, 845-231-3412.
