We invite you to Taste the Freshness of the Farms in a Farm to Table Agri-Cuisine dish at this year's MMiM Annual Milton & Marlboro Harvest Celebration event.  Local MMIM restaurants/eateries owners/chefs have paired up with their fellow farming and winery members to incorporate the locally grown fruits and vegetables  to create a "Farm to Table" dish, an Agri-Cuisine and a local wine is (optional with dinner). 
    Meet Me in Marlborough and celebrate 300 years of farming with us. Come enjoy a day viewing the spectacular foliage while you visit the farms to pick fresh fruit or stop by a farmers market to choose from a selection of vegetables, fruits, baked goods and more. Make your way through the country roads to our wineries to taste the local vino and to our specialty farms for gourmet items. Now, wrap up your day of discovering Marlborough's agricultural heritage by tasting the Valley's Bounty in specially prepared Agri-Cuisine at one of MMiM participating restaurants, caf�s and deli's.
 
       MMiM local restaurants/eateries owners/chefs have paired with MMiM farms and wineries to create 'A Farm to Table' dish for dinner, lunch or breakfast, using the local farm fresh vegetables and fruits, that will be available on weekends throughout the month of October. 
     You can visit these members, savor the Fall's Harvest for a dinner, lunch or breakfast "Farm to Table" dish; Hidden Cellar, Marlboro will be serving it in the dinner menu, Frank's Deli, Marlboro and Kirky's Deli, Milton will be having lunch or baked items and for a country farm breakfast or dessert stop at the Hudson Baking Co., Milton.

The public is invited to participate in "Trunk or Treat"! For those who love to make believe, pre-register your car and secure a place in our "haunted parking lot". Decorate your car, dress up and be ready to treat the little goblins to lots of candy!  At 6pm, children (with parents) can come to the Marlboro Elementary School and trick or treat amongst the parked cars. That's why we call it "Trunk or Treat"! Be sure to come dressed in costume.
We'll have a parade of goblins, ghouls and princesses at 6:30pm.

Attention families!  What would Halloween be without some chillin' tales for the spookiest time of year?  Join us on October 24th at 2:30 PM for award-winning storyteller, Diane Edgecomb, as she tells tales complete with a huge cauldron bubbling over with fog for the last dramatic story!  This family program contains some old classics as well as great new Halloween stories full of surprises.  All tales are appropriate for family audiences and contain a well-rounded blend of suspense and humor. FUN, GAMES AND MUSIC WEEKEND AT THE MARLBORO LIBRARY, November 14th and 15th  
   All are invited to the Marlboro Library on the weekend of November 14th
and 15th, for two fun-filled events, 'National Gaming Day' and 'Music
Makes the World Go 'Round' featuring Jeff Haynes. On Saturday, November
14, from 12 noon until 2PM, join Librarian Sue Scott as she hosts,
'National Gaming Day at Your Library'. Kids of all ages are encouraged
to register for this event, during which WII Sports and a MADDEN 2010
tournament will be featured. So, if you don't already have these games
at home, this is your chance to check them out!
At 3PM on Sunday, November 15th, percussionist Jeff Haynes along with
special guests, singer/songwriter Timothy Hill and guitarist Sean
Harkness will be performing at the Library. For those who are not
familiar with Jeff Haynes, he is a stellar percussionist who will be
using and presenting handcrafted percussion instruments from all over
the world. Audience participation is encouraged and this performance is
sure to be remembered by all those who attend. And yes, the Library
will be open during this event, so if you visit, be prepared to join-in
as the drumbeats flood the Library!
