Is There a Zombie Walk in Your Future?

Greetings!

If you see a bandaged, bleeding, limping group of zombies walking toward you on the street this month, know this: they're probably supporting a local charity.

Zombie walks have spread to an estimated 50 American cities and numerous countries.  Municipalities from Florida to Washington state are making way for kooky-but ultimately charitable-events that celebrate mythical flesh-eating, leg dragging monstrous characters.

Many of the events benefit local charities.  None are raising big bucks, but quite a few are attracting sizeable crowds.   The current record -- 4,200 undead -- was set this July in Seattle.

Don't be afraid.  It's our little Halloween gift to all of you.
