| Service Spotlight - Testing For Vaccum Leaks |
 Does your car have a rough idle or does it seem to hesitate during acceleration? If so, you may have a vaccum leak that is allowing unmetered air into the engine. When this occurs, the air/fuel ratio is no longer optimized and drivability suffers. To combat these often elusive problems, the technicians at GMP Performance use a smoke machine to pinpoint the source of a leak using OEM-approved UV dye. Our Leak Tamer system is also specially equipped to tackle issues in the EVAP/Fuel Vapor system, a task that is often problematic with lesser machines. Testing for boost leaks is also an important precaution before installing power upgrades on turbo vehicles. Contact a member of the GMP Sales Team to schedule an appointment. |
