...To Be An Amazing Canvas
| Supermodel Heidi Klum recently posed nude against a white backdrop body painted from head to toe in a colorful array of patterns for an Astor Cosmetics ad campaign. According to Klum, it took 12 hours for legendary body paint artist Joanne Gair to create the look, but Klum said she "didn't mind sitting still for such a long time" since "it's a living piece of art that I'm so honored to be a part of." YOU don't have to be a supermodel to participate in AANR's Amazing Canvas Nudist Face and Body Painting Event, to be held at various AANR clubs, locations, and member parties. Bodies of all shapes and sizes will join in the fun on July 14. All it takes to participate is the enjoyment of being nude, a love of art, and a willingness to have a great time! Click here for information on the event. Email Carolyn Hawkins at pubaffairs@aanr.com to sign up to host a body painting event in your area or at your club. |
It's Time To Vote
|
Voting has begun in the 2012 AANR Elections and will continue through June 20. The May issue of The Bulletin includes candidate profiles and ballots for voting members. However, members who are on "no mail" and do not receive The Bulletin will not receive anything from the AANR office.
The good news is that those members are still eligible to vote. Simply contact VR Election Services at 800-218-4026, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CT or email customer service at custserv@vres.us.
Members will need to provide their P number, located on their AANR membership card, to VR Elections for a PIN number that allows them to vote online.
Candidate profiles and Bylaw amendments can be found on AANR.com, where you can also ask questions of the candidates and read their responses. To view a complete voter's quide, log in to the Members area on AANR.com, then go to Download Center.
Please call the AANR office at 800-TRY-NUDE if you have any questions or need additional information.
Remember to vote--It's your right!

What's So Fascinating About The Grand Canyon?
|
A trip to the Grand Canyon appears to be on the Bucket List of many. It is one of the most highly visited National Parks in the US. It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World (and the only one in the US). It is the largest canyon in the US. Only two others in the world are deeper (Nepal) or wider (Australia). It is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep.
One can, of course, stand on the rim and look a mile down to what appears to be a tiny stream at the bottom. Everyone has seen -- or taken -- photos from the rim. But there is a better way to see the Canyon -- from the bottom up. At the bottom one realizes the immensity of rock, the enormous volume of water in a huge river, and the insignificance of the human in this panorama. The total awesomeness of the setting is what keeps Arizona Wildflower members and their fellow nudists/naturists coming back for more than one "once-in-a-lifetime" experience.
The experience includes some amazing photo opportunities in more than 180 side canyons. There are slot canyons and very wide, deep canyons. For a photo gallery of side canyons that can be reached only by river, log onto www.gcex.com/side_canyon_gallery.html. The company that provides these photos will provide a raft trip through the canyon -- clothing required, of course. Or book with the Wildflowers for a true naturist adventure (see ad to the left).
Take a journey through time -- rocks billions of years old -- and a journey through four climate zones (like traveling from Mexico to Canada).Take a white-water raft trip and find out what the real fascination is.It's a bigger-than-life experience.
