A recent USAToday Travel section article featured Rooster Rock State Park in Oregon. The article, titled  "How to Swim at Rooster Rock State Park in Oregon," outlined six steps to take when visiting.  

Rooster Rock is about a half hour from Portland and a longtime popular spot for Northwest nudists and visitors to the area. The park has three miles of Columbia River shoreline and a large sandy beach. One end of the beach is reserved for nude swimming and sunbathing.

Lake Como in the Florida Tampa Bay area offers clothes-free nude recreation opportunities for every taste. Enjoy great spa amenities like the large pool, hot tub, and five clay tennis courts. Visitors can sail or paddle on the 35-acre private lake.  

A National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, Lake Como offers au naturel hiking trails through 111 acres of wetland and woodland nature preserve. Tent or RV camping is available as well as rooms or a housekeeping cabin with living room, screened deck, and full kitchen. The club is the home of the Superbowl South volleyball tournament, to be held March 2-10. Lake Como is also the location of the 2012 AANR Convention, August 6-13.

A store called The Red Light is hosting its sixth annual Co-Ed Naked Shopping Spree on February 19. Four contestants (two girls, two boys) will be chosen in a drawing to compete in the event.  

Then contestants, stripped down to their birthday suits, are given three minutes to pile on as much clothing as possible in front of the general public, who is invited to attend. The contestant who dons the most items wins everything they are wearing plus other prizes, including free passes to Hidden Springs nudist resort's members only Rec Night.
