The Year in Review
|  In 2012, it will be five years that the E-Bulletin has been in existence. Over the course of each year, there are certain stories that particularly resonate with readers. This holiday season it seemed like it might be fun to revisit some of the most popular, most clicked-on stories of the year.

Official AANR iPhone App Debuts: January 6
|  AANRmobile, the new free AANR application for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad is now available for download in Apple's App Store.
. As an avid iPhone fan and AANR member, Mark discovered that there was no AANR app so he talked to AANR about the concept, then decided to produce AANRmobile.
Features include FAQs and the latest news from AANR's The Alltogether Blog. A Club Directory lets users browse clubs by state or province and also includes AANR resorts outside North America and maps to AANR landed clubs.

The Doctors Are In: February 24
|  The February 18 episode of The Doctors, titled "The Naked Truth About Your Health," was devoted to the health benefits of nudism and skinny-dipping as well as how to feel comfortable in your own skin. Tom and Mary Clare Mulhall, owners of The Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs, were featured on the show to describe a day in the life of a nudist couple. One of the best parts of the show was that all the doctors were buying in on the benefits of nudism. Dr. Ruth said, "Some people go to nudist camps. Let them have a good time." Dr. Andrew Ordan admitted enjoying going to nude beach resorts with his wife in the Caribbean. All the doctors were pro-skinny-dipping. Click here to watch video clips of the episode. |

TripAdvisor's Nude Beach Poll: May 26
|  Nude recreation is more popular than ever. In fact those who frequently turn to TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site that assists customers in gathering travel information, posting reviews and opinions of travel-related content and engaging in interactive travel forums, tend to think so. TripAdvisor has just released its 2011 "nude beach survey results" revealing nearly half of Americans (49%) would bare it all at a nude beach (up from 48% in 2010 and 31% in 2009). Thirty-two percent of respondents indicated they would not, while 19% remain on the fence about taking the skinny dip plunge. Click here to read more about the TripAdvisor survey. Heidi Klum Talks Nudity in the Home: August 31
|  Supermodel and Project Runway star Heidi Klum has long been a proponent of nudity in appropriate settings. The German-born star has often commented in articles about how nudity is treated differently in European countries and how she and her husbad, pop singer Seal, have treated the subject of nudity in their home.
In a recent article posted on CafeMom, Klum describes what she tells her children about appropriate settings saying, "See, you
teach children that there is a proper time, place and etiquette to nudity. There are social reasons you CAN be naked HERE but CAN'T be naked THERE." Click here to read more. |

|  On the subject of body acceptance and pride in being who you are, a new module is being added to the World of Nude Recreation section of AANR.com called "Nudist & Proud." All nudists who have "come out of the clothes closet" are invited to submit their stories. Stay tuned for more details soon.

Tunick Publishes First Dead Sea Photo:
October 27
|  After completing his latest photo shoot last month, photographer Spencer Tunick said that he would publish the first photo of the installation in six months. Since then, the international campaign to help select the Dead Sea as one of the new seven natural wonders of the world may have been what persuaded him to publish the first image this week. During the shoot, in which 1,200 Israelis were photographed, Tunick stressed that one of his goals was to draw international attention to the fact that the Dead Sea was drying up. Tunick has set up a website at www.nakedsea.info where he intends on publishing more images from the shoot and encourages visitors to vote for the Dead Sea. |
