The Doctors Are In

The February 18 episode of The Doctors, titled "The Naked Truth About Your Health," was devoted to the health benefits of nudism and skinny-dipping as well as how to feel comfortable in your own skin.
Tom and Mary Clare Mulhall, owners of The Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs, were featured on the show to describe a day in the life of a nudist couple.
One of the best parts of the show was that all the doctors were buying in on the benefits of nudism. Dr. Ruth said, "Some people go to nudist camps. Let them have a good time."
Dr. Andrew Ordan admitted enjoying going to nude beach resorts with his wife in the Caribbean. All the doctors were pro-skinny-dipping.

Facebook's Problem With Nudity
|
The New York Times Technology blog, Bits, reports that the prestigious New York Academy of Art ran into a little trouble on Facebook. The art academy has been teaching figurative art since the early '80s, yet an ink drawing of a woman's upper body on the school's Facebook page prompted the social media giant to issue a message saying, "You uploaded a photo that violates our Terms of Use, and this photo can be removed."
Days later, when a school administrator was uploading art from a faculty show, the academy was blocked from uploading anything for seven days.
The academy's blog reported on the incident, posting the image that was removed from the site, and questioned Facebook as an arbiter of popular culture.
Facebook has since admitted they made a mistake but the site has a history of removing what it considers questionable graphics that range from other art works to breastfeeding mothers.
