It's AANR Convention Time
|
 The 2010 AANR Convention is just around the corner, and this year's convention promises to be fantastic on many levels. The new AANR Board of Trustees will be sworn in, there will be meetings to discuss AANR business, interesting seminars--and the entertainment promises to be phenomenal.
Sun Meadow Resort in Worley, Idaho, will host the convention from August 9-15. Already well known for their high-level entertainment, Sun Meadow officials have put together a schedule of events and activities that encourages visitors to arrive early and stay late.
Just added to the list of entertainment is Bakra Bata (above), a steel drum band that uses Caribbean themed instruments and costuming to create a concert/dance that will be the perfect finale to the convention's Northwest Caribbean Holiday theme.

Nudists at 136 locations across North America took part in the AANR World Record Skinny-Dip last Saturday. Police Plan To Stop Iglesias' Ski Stunt
|
 Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias announced earlier this month that if Spain won its first soccer World Cup he would "ski naked" in Key Biscayne in Miami. Iglesias, whose father was once a top goalkeeper in Spain, said he would go through with the prank after Spain won. However, police plan to stop the singer, saying, "We enforce all laws here, regardless of what your status is in the Miami community."
Just for fun, AANR tweeted Iglesias, offering him an honorary AANR membership or the opportunity to become a Skinny-Dip Fan.
