... And Media Follows

A group of AANR volunteers from across North America
headed to Washington, D.C., this week to walk the halls of Congress. What the AANR contingent didn't count
on was the blitz of publicity surrounding their trip. The group's intention was
to educate lawmakers about issues pertaining to nude recreation, specifically
about a "well-intentioned" pending bill that could inadvertently affect nudist
websites and businesses.
AANR is in good company: the Center for Responsive
Politics notes that "Google, Facebook and Microsoft have all filed lobbying
reports during the last year that listed Internet or 'cyber' security as
targeted issues."
Articles soon began appearing in The Hill, D.C.'s congressional daily newspaper; USAToday; The Huffington Post; NBC Washington and more.
