ESPN Magazine To Feature Nude Athletes

USA Today reports that prominent athletes will pose nude for ESPN The Magazine's first "Body Issue," to be published in October.The magazine is approaching pro, amateur, and Olympic athletes about posing in the buff for the issue. Editor in chief Gary Belsky says the magazine is not trying to compete with Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue, a perennial favorite and one of the most successful franchises in publishing history. A model for the Body Issue is the "all-nude, tastefuly done" January 14, 2009 issue which featured photos of Winter X Games athletes au naturel. Belsky says," This is going to be about sports. How Green Is A Nudist Vacation?

Writer James Kanter covers a wide spectrum of eco friendly tips for clothes-free living and vacationing, from traveling to nudist locations such as France's Aquitane region to nude hiking in the Swiss Alps to simply vacationing au naturel close to home.
