what they love about nudism with all who are interested. Vita Nuda is hosting a
beach party at Haulover Beach in Florida,
June 19-21.
Vita Nuda's
Nude Revolution TV has become a hit on YouTube, and the videos have been seen by over two million viewers,

Today Hosts Sell Nude Paintings
|
In March, Today
show hosts Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry and Al Roker went to the New York Academy of Art to learn to paint the classic nude, and the hosts learned a
new appreciation for the human body in its most natural state. The finished
paintings were shown on Today with censor tape, prompting a heated debate. The
matter was put to an online vote: 74 percent of viewers wanted to see the tape
come off, while 26 percent wanted it to stay on. Bidding on the original nude
paintings by the Today hosts--with the censor tape removed--closed on eBay on
April 3, bringing in a total of $14,451, which will go to Feeding America, a domestic hunger-relief charity, and the New
York Academy of Art, a not-for-profit institution devoted to the study of the
human figure.

The Naked Truth
|

Allure
magazine's yearly Naked Truth issue hits newsstands on April 21. Five
celebrities, including Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi, strip down for the camera and reveal how they
feel about self-esteem and their bodies in the May issue. Lakshmi tells Allure
she always sleeps nude. Actress Eliza Dushku says she grew up with three brothers, and was never shy
about walking around naked. It got to the point where her mother sometimes had to tell
her, "OK, honey, it's time to put some clothes on now."

Garden In The Nude
|
Looking for
something fun, inexpensive that anyone can do--and do naked? Celebrate World Naked Gardening Day (WNGD), now in it's fifth year. This year's
event will take place on May 2, and people around the world will "tend to their
portion of the world's garden clothed as nature intended," according to the
WNGD website.
So what
should you do? On May 2, find an opportunity to get naked and do some
gardening, alone, with friends, with family, with your gardening club, or with
any other group gathered together for that purpose. Do it inside your house, in
your back yard, on a hiking trail, at a park, or at your nudist club, making
the world a healthier environmental place to be.

Why Membership Matters
|
Membership is strength when numbers are presented to legislators
or quoted in the press.
Even more important, AANR is YOU. Your voice is only
as strong as you make it with your membership and support of AANR advocacy
initiatives. If you want nude recreation to be respected, socially
validated, and legally sanctioned, you, as the voice of AANR, need to make your
contribution. When you introduce a
friend to your favorite club or beach, encourage them to join AANR as
well. Tell them that as AANR members
they, too, will be part of the voice to support the future of nude recreation. Susan Weaver
We want to hear why your AANR membership matters to you. Simply "Reply" and let us know. We will be publishing some of the responses in future issues of the E-Bulletin. Names are optional.
