tintinFans of comic classic 'Tintin' were in heaven when a selection of original comics, artworks and objects owned by creator Herge were auctioned in Paris last month. The auction raked in A$157 million. Highlights of the auction included an original of King Ottokar's Sceptre from 1939 and a bronze statue of Tintin and his dog by Nat Neujean. 'Tintin and the Shellfish', a drawing by Herge, also sold for A$190,500.
